My Story

For most of my life, I was known as “the athletic one.” I grew up playing pretty much every sport possible. Fortunately, my athletic abilities took me far, and I went on to play collegiate indoor and beach volleyball at Eastern Kentucky University, where I studied Environmental Health Science and Occupational Safety.

Fast forward to my senior year of college. I was in the middle of wrapping up my volleyball career when I signed up for a photography class to fill a random elective. All I knew was my parents had a solid “family camera,” and photography seemed fun… which felt like enough at the time. I had zero expectations whatsoever. You likely know where this story is going, so let me save you some time.

That photography class changed everything.

The second I picked up that camera, something clicked. I found this creative side of myself I didn’t even know existed, and before I knew it I was offering paid sessions, showing off my work on social media.

Now, I get to fully love what I do. Spending my weekends capturing love stories through my lens. My goal is to create photos that not only preserve how your day looked, but how it felt too.
